 * myocardial contractile function - global and local, presence of aneurysms

 * the general condition of the pericardium with all its characteristics, the presence of pericardial fluid, tumors and cysts

 * morphology, mobility of valvular and subvalvular structures,

 It is considered the gold standard of diagnosis for the assessment of congenital and acquired valvular defects, the assessment of contractile function in the case of ischemic heart disease, heart failure, as well as the assessment of cardiovascular risk with certain indicators in the case of arterial hypertension.
